Warp & Weft brings together works that explore the tapestry of identity; the multiple strands that create a family and the ties that bind. It aims to bring into focus the role of traditional craft in contemporary art as both a physical and conceptual practice of weaving together sometimes disparate materials, ideas and approaches.
We are thoroughly excited to be hosting the Christchurch launch of Garland magazine at this event. With a special ceremony and acknwledgement of contributors to the publication.
Many thanks to Dilana Rugs for hosting this exhibition.
