Since concluding her residency in November 2016, Sarah Smuts-Kennedy has been busy working on multiple projects. Sarah’s inner city bee project “For the Love of Bees” is a social sculpture and recently featured in Paperboy Magazine.
Sarah is also in a parallel solo exhibition at Artspace alongside works from Yuki Kihara and Shannon Te Ao opening 18th May. Her post-residency show opens in October at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery. In early June Sarah will talk about her residency experience “In Conversation” with Natasha Conland, contemporary art curator at Auckland Art Gallery. Details as follows:
