KIMSOOJA | Kimsooja

Preview Friday November 17, 5.30pm
Exhibition runs from Friday November 17 to Friday December 22, 2017
Trish Clark Gallery, Auckland

Trish Clark Gallery is pleased to present internationally acclaimed artist Kimsooja in the first solo exhibition of her work in a private gallery in Australasia. Three key video works from different periods will create an immersive environment for local audiences, which will, together with a screened Bloomberg documentary, introduce them to the rich humanism of Kimsooja’s work. Her art practice, described by esteemed curator Harald Szeeman as ‘existential doing’, has been dedicated over a span of thirty years to discovering and expressing the inherent oneness of life, unifying the physical and the metaphysical.
