The next Creative Communities funding round opens on Monday September 11 and closes Friday October 20 2017 for projects that do not start before Friday November 10 2017.
Do you have a project in mind that will get people involved in the arts or strengthen your local arts sector? Creative expression is fundamental to developing our sense of who we are and how we relate to each other. The South Taranaki Creative Communities Scheme, administered by the South Taranaki District Council on behalf of Creative New Zealand, aims to foster an environment that supports creative expression and provides greater opportunities for people to enjoy the arts, wherever they live and whatever their circumstances.
Individuals and groups may apply for funding for projects that:
• Create opportunities for local communities to engage with and participate in arts activities
• Supports the diverse arts and cultural traditions of local communities, enriching and promoting their uniqueness and cultural diversity
• Enable and encourage young people (under 18 years) to engage with and actively participate in the arts.
